Michael Alan Bowman, 71, of Jacksonville, N.C., passed away on Jan. 9, 2026, at Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune.
Graveside services with military honors will be held on Friday, Jan. 16, at 10 a.m. at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
Michael was born on Jan. 4, 1955, in Shelby County, Tenn., to the late Marion Bowman and Anna Stone Bowman.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Bowman; and children, Zachary Bowman (Alia), Mckenzie Buhman (Brian), Michael Herbers (Madoka Miyagi), Megan Herbers (Roberto Lassalle), Madison Herbers (Brad Chambers), Samantha Moss, and Marc Losito.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Michael’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
